Musical meeting with the children of the orphanage

It's been a long time since we met children from orphanages and support centers, this time we implemented this wonderful opportunity together with the school's philharmonic project. Children who could not return to Artsakh and remained in Armenia were also hosted.
There are no limits with us, because within an hour you will appear in the role of a real cartoon character, you will voice cartoons yourself. We will watch the favorite episodes of the most popular cartoons with live music.

New Year's Live Cartoon's event at LOFT ⭐

At the beginning of the meeting, the children watch a famous cartoon, then we remind them that what they watched was different from what they watched on TV, that's when they notice that the movie is not with the original sound, but we are playing it on the spot, making different sounds. Then comes the stage of getting to know the instruments, after which we watch the second cartoon, at that time the children should pay more attention to understand which instrument the cat is playing when it walks, what sound it makes when the mouse runs, that is, you should try the sounds to listen "as a musician".

1000+ Children participated in the LIVE Cartoons project in 2022

"In 2022, over 1,000 children enthusiastically joined our LIVE Cartoons project. These young participants came from a variety of backgrounds, including orphanages, child support centers, and other communities."

"As we step into 2023-2024, our goal is to expand our LIVE Cartoons project to reach even more children in need. To make this vision a reality, we're launching a fundraising campaign. Your support will enable us to bring the magic of live cartoons and music to additional children, including those in orphanages, child support centers, and other communities. Together, let's create more smiles and memories in the coming year."

Live Cartoon's event at LOFT ⭐

Children sitting on the carpet first study the small musical instruments they have been given, then they start to "play" irregularly, listen to their sound. Some bring the tinkering tools and bells closer to the person sitting next to them to show what sound the "egg" makes, how the bell rings.

My children participate in the Tonica Project music program, which, through cartoons, teaches them to distinguish between soft and loud sounds, to repeat the rhythms by clapping. At the end, when everyone already understands the movements of the "leader's" hands, a small music group is formed and the children are able to join the musicians on the spot. voice their favorite cartoons, imagine how the picture gets sound.

Children's Day 2022 / U. S. Embassy Armenia

How much you can delve into the music during the meeting depends on the group of children, their number, age, that is, it is possible that there is just a little attention to the rhythm and other musical abilities, but more often the meeting develops in such a way that we feel how we all become a big band. The goal during the meeting is to develop the children's abilities in such a way that at the end we all sing a cartoon together in a live performance.
